Jason Alfrey grew up in the San Diego area where he began playing tennis at the age of 4. He has played competitive tennis most his life achieving rankings in San Diego and Southern California.

Jason played 4 years of varsity tennis at Torrey Pines High School winning two CIF championships and winning the doubles league championship.

From there Jason has been coaching the game of tennis for more than 20 years working with groups and individuals of all levels from beginners to high performance players.

Jason brings his passion for the game to the courts by creating a ‘competitive’ attitude for the tennis players to help them get motivated and play better while still promoting a fun and energetic atmosphere.

Larry is a proud 4-year veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the USPTA (United States Professional Tennis Association), With a “Professional” ranking.

After leaving the USAF, Larry turned pro and played professionally for 5 years.  When his playing days were over, he became the Director of Tennis at the T-M Tennis Ranch, owned and operated by former #1 Tennis player in the world John Newcombe. During his time at T-M Tennis Ranch, Larry worked very closely with John and fellow Hall of Fame tennis great Tony Roche with the development of many world-class players. 

After leaving T-M Tennis Ranch he became Rod Laver and Roy Emerson’s National Director of Tennis Operations overseeing the daily tennis operations at locations across the country.

Larry’s latest tenure included Director of Tennis at the Tennis Club at San Luis Rey Downs in charge of the entire tennis facility for 20+ years until they sold the resort.

Larry is now proud to represent the Tennis Club of Vista sharing his expertise with the members and helping them become the best players they inspire to be.
